We're a group of State College-based German learners, looking to practice our speaking, build our skills, and support each other along the way.

Sprachpraxis
Join our Deutsch-Stammtisch, and speak German in a relaxed, supportive environment. The only requirement is a willingness to speak and to help others.
All levels welcome
Our levels range from beginners to native speakers. If you're brand new, come practice listening skills. If you haven't spoke in a decade, come dive back in. If you're a Muttersphrachler*in, come connect with others.

We meet twice a month for a 2-hour conversation group. See the complete schedule below.
Absolutely free
There is no charge to attend! That's it. No fine print needed.

We meet at the Schlow Library in the heart of downtown State College.

We are volunteer-led group, representing all of State College. Our ages range from high school students to retirees. Everyone is truly welcome.

Zeitplan
We meet every other Monday between 5:30 and 7:30 PM, with some exceptions. New dates will be posted three times a year.
Themen
To spark conversation, each meeting focuses on a specific theme. A new themed worksheet is shared at each meeting. The worksheet helps start the conversation, but is not a requirement. Conversations can (and do) flow naturally.
